Steps to Complete Arizona Defensive Online Driving Course

1) Enroll for your Online Driving Course by clicking on the enroll now button to the right.

123azstate online driving course2) Once you finish enrolling, please upload a copy of your driver license and citation in the area provided at the end of the enrollment. (You can send the documents via scan and email as well, by taking a picture with a smart phone and emailing, or faxing. Upload or Email works best if possible.)

3) Upon receiving your documents, we will verify the information you entered when you enrolled to confirm accuracy when submitting your completion to the courts.

4) Once your information has been verified, we will send you an email indicating that your course is open and you can begin taking your online driving course.

You may begin your defensive driving course at any time and you also have the ability to log in and out whenever you choose, allowing you to work  your online defensive driving course into your schedule. You must complete your online driving course no late then 7 Days prior to your court date.

5) After completing the course, you will receive your Defensive Driving School Completion certificate online so that you can print it out or save it for your records. You will not need to send your certificate to the court, we will notify the court of your completion for you!

Length of Course
Our online class is 4 to 4 1/2  hours long. You can enter and exit the course as often as you need to accommodate your busy schedule.  Or, you can complete the course in one morning, afternoon, or evening without ever leaving your home or office! To re-enter the online course, click login at the at www.123AZol.com. We recommend using high-speed internet access.

Refund Policy
Our school fee is non-refundable. Refunds of state and local court fees are determined by their individual refund policies. There are no refunds of school or state fees if you do not complete the class. You have NOT completed the course until you see the Certificate of Completion..

Who should take this online driving course?
Everyone! Most people take the course to dismiss a ticket. In Arizona, you are eligible to take the course for ticket dismissal once every 12 months from violation date to violation date. If you received multiple violations on one ticket, only one moving violation can be dismissed. Remember, YOU are responsible for the remaining violations.

Your eligibility to take this class is based on the information you have provided. If it is determined that you are not eligible to take the course after you have completed the course, our school fee will not be refunded. State and court fees are only refunded in accordance with their policies. You may call our office at 1-623-419-4594 to confirm your eligibility if you are unsure.

You can also take the course just to enhance your defensive driving skills and roadway knowledge.

Course Curriculum
Participants learn how to recognize both potential and immediate hazards, how to avoid collisions in a variety of driving conditions and how to choose safe and legal driving behaviors. The course covers a variety of topics including:

  • Personal responsibility and driving
  • Defensive driving
  • Preventable collisions
  • Hazard recognition
  • Impaired driving
  • Alcohol and other drugs, including prescription and over-the- counter drugs
  • Arizona Revised Statutes for DUI
  • Aggressive driving
  • The driving environment
  • Driver conditions
  • Vehicle conditions and routine maintenance
  • Weather conditions
  • Light conditions
  • Road conditions
  • Traffic conditions
  • Other drivers
  • Defensive driving techniques for avoiding collisions
  • The six most common driving errors
  • Choosing safe and legal driving behaviors
  • Information on Arizona Revised Statutes related to driving

Online Course Requirements

Taking the online class to dismiss a traffic ticket is a five-step process:

  1. Registration: After completing your preliminary registration on our website you will upload copies  of your driver license and ticket (you may also must email, fax, or bring a legible copy to our office). Our office will review your documents and as a courtesy, check your eligibility. You are ultimately responsible for proving your eligibility for the ticket dismissal class. 123 AZ Online will send you an e-mail to the e-mail address you provided within 24 hours indicating that we have checked your documents and opened your course to allow access to the online class. (Registrations done after 3pm PST Friday will be handled the next business day.) Please call our office if you need your registration process expedited. We are frequently available evenings and weekends.
  2. Payment: You will then pay for the class with your MasterCard, Discover or Visa credit or debit cards. After payment for the class is approved, the registration process is complete and you may begin your course.
  3. Proceed Through the Class: You will then proceed to take the class online. The online class must be completed no later than 7 days prior to your court date.
  4. Print Certificate: You can print your Defensive Driving Course Certificate of Completion at the completion of the ticket dismissal course and test. We will notify the court of your completion but you should keep your certificate for your records.

 

There are no refunds of school or state fees if you do not complete the class. You have NOT completed the course until you have completed the online curriculum and viewed the Certificate of Completion..
